I’m Regina Acra, a graphic designer from the Dominican Republic currently based in Washington DC. My approach blends intuition and strategy to create work that connects through storytelling.
I believe that curiosity drives my practice, merging emotional depth with a systematic approach. My expertise spans brand identities, publications, and various print and digital mediums.
I hold a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Boston University.

Thesis
In Conversation: Curiosity, Storytelling, Connection
2020
My MFA thesis from Boston University (2020) defines design as both a systematic and emotional process. I developed a multimodal methodology that allows for the interaction of analytical and intuitive approaches, featuring interviews with Experimental Jetset, Ellen Lupton, and Muir McNeil.
